Sarah Elizabeth Charles is a vocalist/ composer. As an artist, she has been acquiring a respected following in both the New England and New York City areas. She has grown as a musician first through the Community Music School of Springfield, MA and now at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York where she has been able to study with accomplished musicians including Sheila Jordan; Richard Harper, Janet Lawson, Jimmy Owens, Junior Mance, and Carmen Lundy. Under the influence of such artists, she has been able to modernize classic standards and compose distinctive.
